Smiles from my Abba

Last week, I was sitting in my car, awaiting a friend's arrival for dinner at Panera. All day, I had been reading the book, "Do you think I'm beautiful?" and had been internally struggling with feeling like poop, so I decided to take out my Bible and read it. Out dropped a piece of folded paper that I had never seen before. I opened it and this is what it said, on a "message notes" paper from Zion Fellowship:

Dear Michelle, (Mother's Day)

You are such a blessing to everyone you come in contact with. It is a joy to be with you. If there's anything I remember about our few conversations, it's that you want to be a mother to the nations. Michelle, you are a mother, and beautiful one at that, not just on the outside, which everyone can see it's true, but on the inside. Your spirit...is intoxicating. People can't help but love you. Your laugh is contagious, even if people don't think it's funny, they smile just because your laugh brightens their day. You have such a calling on your life to be a mother. Your such a comfort even if you don't say anything. I didn't know your mother, but to have raised such a wonderful daughter, she must have been an amazing woman. I am 100% positive that you are everything your mother ever hoped and dreamed about and more. Don't ever doubt yourself or think less of yourself. You are the most amazing fun loving person, you've already been through so much. Don't ever believe less of yourself. God loves you with such a passion that people can see it just by looking at you. He has such a plan for your life, you can't even dream about it. I know for me personally just having you in my life makes it better. I LOVE YOU, more than I even know, if that makes sense :)

Seriously, I couldn't believe those words. I just sat there, dumbfounded in the fact that I am so finite but God is so big that He can be small and smile at me in my time of insecurity. Why do I struggle w/ validation??? His love is more than enough. God, my prayer is that I would live in the knowledge of Your everlasting, never failing love for me...YOUR CHILD!!!! I am a PRINCESS of the King of the Universe, and will not look at myself as anything less. Help me to walk in Your confidence, and to love from the bottom of my heart the people who don't know Your love, and to show them Your love, even when they curse me and hate me. Your love is enough.
